You should take extra precautions if you are travelling to a foreign country. Ask your doctor if you need any vaccinations and which ones are suitable for pregnant women. Always take travel insurance and make sure it covers for pregnancy related cancellation and health problems. Take a record of your blood group, allergy types if there is any, and contact phone numbers for your doctor or midwife.

Drink bottled water if you have any doubts about the tap water, and also avoid salad, ice, etc for the same reason.

If you go on a beach holiday, try to stay in the shade to keep your body temperature down, and drink plenty water to keep yourself hydrated.

Remember to consult your doctor before you decide to take a holiday especially in the late stage of pregnancy.
