Is there a simple way to find a job and live in the US?

Not really, unless you happen to get a job offer from an employer who is able to help you with getting all the papers you need. Otherwise you need a visa - from most countries, in fact you need a form of visa even to go the US on holiday. If you're looking for work, you can't just arrive and start looking but need to have a job arranged before you can enter. However, if you apply for a job your possible employer will want to know if you have permission to live in the country, so you are advised by the migration bureau to apply for permanent resident status well in advance. This status is more usually known as a green card.

Generally, your chances are much greater if you have skills and qualifications that are in short supply, so it's worth looking at your resume and doing some research into whether the US has a shortage of the skills you can offer. Good luck.
