How many airports are there in Dublin?

Dublin itself has only one aiport which is called, simply enough, Dublin Airport. it is located about 25 km from the city, near Collinstown in the county of Fingal. It is the largest airport in Ireland, and at its peak it was serving almost 20 million passengers a year although numbers have declined a bit in the last few years. There was a plan to build a metro rail link from the airport to the city centre, but this had to be postponed and the usual way from the airport to the city is by bus or taxi.
Ireland's second largest airport is Cork Airport. However, with a peak of under 3 million passengers a year it is very much smaller than Dublin, and as with other Irish airports, its numbers have dropped since then even though attempts have been made to expand it.
The third airport is Shannon. This only became a commercial airport last year, with passenger numbers at under 1 1/2 million but likely to rise.
