What should I do if I get robbed in the UK?

If you get robbed you are not usually advised to try and catch the criminal yourself as it may well be very dangerous to do that. However, you should try and notice everything you can about the person - their appearance, height, voice and anything that may help you to identify them. Try to remember the time and place as accurately as you can too, and if there are any witnesses you should ask them to help and get a contact number (some people don't want to get involved, but really everyone should help in a case like this.)
You should call the police at the first possible moment, and give them all the information you can while it is fresh in your mind. The police should then advise you what to do next, but in general you may need to stay in the area for a while to answer questions and possibly help identify the attacker.
