According to the 2011 Guinness World Record, the oldest spider cobweb in the word was found in 2009 by amateur fossil hunters - brothers Jamie and Jonathan Hiscocks. It was approximately 140 million years old.
It was found on a beach in East Sussex, England and now is being studied by Oxford University scientists.
According to the research, the oldest spider cobweb was encased in amber which was formed during the Cretaceous Period.
