As the economic grows, more and more Chinese people start to have pets. The pet industry is booming in current China.

You can say '你养宠物吗?' - nǐ yǎng chǒng wù ma ?
宠物 (chǒng wù) means pet or pets
养 (yǎng) means have, raise or give birth
你 (nǐ ) means you.

If the answer is '养的 (yǎng de)' , it means 'yes, I have'.
If the answer is '没养 (méi yǎng)', it means 'no, I have not got one'
