Petra Kvitova won the 2011 Wimbledon tennis tournament, one of the most important (if not the most important) tennis championship in the world, defeating Maria Sharapova in two sets, 6 -3 6 - 4 in 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Petra Kvitova was only 21 years old when she won this tournament for the first time. But has any other female player won Wimbledon at an even younger age? Yes, American tennis palyer Kathy Rinaldi won Wimbledon torunament in 1981 when she was only 15 and Martina Hingis did the same in 1996.
