Can you claim mileage allowances if you are paying tax via PAYE in the UK?

You can only claim mileage allowances if the jorney is considered as business travel. The usual commuting does not fit HM Revenue & Customs' definition of 'business travel' . However, if you drive your car to visit your clients or go to a temporary work place, you can can claim the mileage. For more, check here.
