Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "I'd like to go somewhere off the beaten track" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: na-neun injeok-i deumeun eodin-garo gago sipeo (나는 인적이 드문 어딘가로 가고 싶어)
  • Formal: jeo-neun injeok-i deumeun eodin-garo gago sipeoyo (저는 인적이 드믄 어딘가로 가고 싶어요), jeo-neun injeok-i deumeun eodin-garo gago sipseupnida (저는 인적이 드믄 어딘가로 가고 싶습니다)
  • Very Formal: jeo-neun injeok-i deumeun eodin-garo gago sipseupnida (저는 인적이 드믄 어딘가로 가고 싶습니다)

- I: na-neun (나는), jeo-neun (저는)
- would like to go: gago sipda (가고 싶다)
- somewhere: eodin-garo (어딘가로), eodiron-ga (어디론가)
- beaten track: balbatdeon gil (밟았던 길)
- off the beaten track: injeok-i deumeun (인적이 드믄), balbeun gil-eul pi-hae (밟았던 길을 피해)
