The hyrax is a small mammal that lives in some parts of Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
They are herbivorous and their size varies from 30 to 70 cm. (11.8 to 27.5 inches) and their weight is between 2 and 5 kg (4.4 to 11 lbs.).
Hyraxes are furry, have short tail and live in family groups.
They love lying in the sun and gather together when the temperature is too cold.
