The most venomous snake in the world is the Inland Taipan or Fierce snake. the venom of this snake is more than 50 times more potent than an Indian Cobra.

The Inland Taipan can be found during the daytime prowling the dry flood planes of central Australia searching for small mammals such as native rodents. During the night these snakes will shelter in deep cracks in the soil.
