Although nobel prize writer Gunter Grass is mostly known for his novels, especially his famous The Tin Drum and Cat and Mouse, Grass started his literary career writing poetry.

His latest famous poem has brought him on the spotlight due to its high political content as in it Grass refers to Israel as a nuclear threat. The poem has been published in various european newspapers such as El Pais, La Repubblica, the New York Times and the Suddeutschze Zeitung.
