If you mean "thousands of dollars" and if you are looking to see if you can actually live off it, I don't think so.

Etsy is a great option for you to diversify and add more channels to your already existing webs tore where you sell products of some sort. For instance, you could have a main e-commerce site where you sell your products. You'd then add etsy, eBay, etc., to increase what we call "web foot print". You could even add a store on your Facebook Fan Page ( if you have one or create one).

Etsy, by itself and as a single web property, could allow you to earn a part-time income at best. Don't depend on it for helping you to provide a full-time income, per se. As it is, income from product based e-commerce businesses depends on ever-diminishing margins. On top of that, there's plenty of competition.

Use Etsy as an additional web-footprint option for your full-fledged business or for part-time income.
