The Graff Pink was sold to English jeweller Laurence Graff for $46 million (£29 million) at a Swiss auction on 16 November 2010. This makes it the most expensive single diamond ever sold in an auction.

Two years before his purchase of the most expensive diamond, Laurence bought the famous Wittelsbach Diamond for $24.3 million (£16.4 million).
