Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "I don't speak English" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: na-neun yeong-eo-reul mot-hae (나는 영어를 못해)
  • Formal: jeo-neun yeong-eo-reul mot-haeyo (저는 영어를 못해요), jeo-neun yeong-eo-reul mot-hapnida (저는 영어를 못합니다)
  • Very Formal: jeo-neun yeong-eo-reul mot-hapnida (저는 영어를 못합니다)

- I: na-neun (나는), jeo-neun (저는)
