How do you say "I'm just curious" in Korean?

Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "I'm just curious" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: na-neun geujeo gunggeum-hal bbun-iya (나는 그저 궁금할 뿐이야), na-neun geujeo gunggeum-hal bbun-iya (나는 단지 궁금할 뿐이야)
  • Formal: jeo-neun geujeo gunggeum-hal bbun-iyeyo (저는 그저 궁금할 뿐이예요), jeo-neun geujeo gunggeum-hal bbun-ipnida (저는 그저 궁금할 뿐입니다)
  • Very Formal: jeo-neun geujeo gunggeum-hal bbun-ipnida (저는 그저 궁금할 뿐입니다)

- I: na-neun (나는), jeo-neun (저는)
- just: geujeo (그저), danji (단지)
- curious: gunggeum-hada (궁금하다)
