According to the Guinness World Record, the world's largest meatball was made by Spieckermann BAU GmbH in Germany on 29 May 2010.

The meatball weighed 340 kilograms, which is equivalent to 749 lb. It took 9 hours to fully cook the meatball as it had a diameter of 1.6 meters and was put into a tailor made pan.
