Southwold is a picturesque town located in the Suffolk County, England.
It is bounded by the North Sea at the East and the River Blyth to the South-West.
The distance between Southwold and Ipswich is 29 miles (47 km).

There is only one road to come in and out of Southwold.
The town is well known for being a typical English resort place with many touristic attractions.
Southwold has an award-winning pier, a white lighthouse, wonderful beaches with colorful beach huts and lovely cafes and pubs.
