Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "Where is the bathroom?" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: hwajangsil-i eodi-ya? (화장실이 어이야?), hwajangsil-i eodi-ni? (화장실이 어디니?)
  • Formal: hwajangsil-i eodi-yeyo? (화장실이 어디예요?), hwajangsil-i eodi-ipnigga? (화장실이 어디입니까?)
  • Very Formal: hwajangsil-i eodi-ipnigga? (화장실이 어디입니까?)

- where: eodi (어디), eodi-e (어디에), eodi-eseo (어디에서)
- is: itda (있다)
- bathroom: yoksil (욕실), hwajangsil (화장실)
