Why bother with gifting when you don't like her? Giving her a gift in this case is an act of pretense. Nothing good or fruitful would ever come off these fake moves.

• Give her a gift cheque, gift voucher or gift card. This will allow her to buy anything she wants and you are less likely to overspend.
• Take her to a shop or a mall and ask her to buy whatever she wants within a stated budget.
• Have her go out to buy something for herself with your spouse. She would be happier.
