Records show that people studied the sky more than 5,000 years ago. The movements of the Moon and the stars are first recorded by the priests of Ancient Egypt and Babylon, which they used to create a calendar for religious and farming events. However, people may studied the stars, the Moon, the Sun before that, just no actual record founded yet.
