The 2012 London Olympic games are getting closer and with it the excitement of having the best athletes in the world competing for medals.

Duran Duran and Snow Patrol (representing Northern Ireland) will play at the opening ceremony as two of the bands showing british musical talent. Also, Stereophonics (representing Wales) and Paolo Nutini (representing Scotland) will form part of the musical line up.
