Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "How was your weekend?" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: jumal-e eottaet-sseo? (주말 어땠어?), jumal-e eotteotke bonaetni? (주말 어떻게 보냈니?)
  • Formal: jumal-e eottaet-sseoyo? (주말 어땠어요?), jumal-e eottaet-seupnigga? (주말 어땠습니까?), jumal-e eotteotke bonaetseoyo? (주말 어떻게 보냈어요?), jumal-e eotteotke bonaetseupnigga? (주말 어떻게 보냈습니까?)
  • Very Formal: jumal-e eotteo-sieotseupnigga? (주말 어떻셨습니까?), jumal-e eotteotke bonaetsieotseupnigga? (주말 어떻게 보내셨습니까?)

- weekend: jumal (주말)
- your: neo-eui (너의), dangsin-eui (당신의)
