No. Actually, the official currency in Iceland is the Icelandic Krona (ISK).

The exchange rate with Euro is now: 0.0063 euros equal 157.9 Kronas. It is the Central Bank of Iceland that is responsible for the issue of Icelandic Kronas and it has been so for almost 200 years.
