Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "How's it going?" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: eotteokkae dwaega? (어떻게 돼가?)
  • Formal: eotteokkae dwaeganayo? (어떻게 돼가요?), eotteokkae dwaegapnigga? (어떻게 돼가십니까?)
  • Very Formal: eotteokkae dwaegasipnigga? (어떻게 돼가십니까?)

- how: eotteotda (어떻다), eotteo-ke (어떻게)
- it (subjective): geu-geot-eun (그것은), geu-geo-neun (그거는), geu-geon (그건) - omitted here
- to go: gada (가다)
