The tennis star and his girlfriend Jelena Ristic have been talking about marriage for some time. They have been together since 2005 and Djokovic has publicly described her as the love of his life. She can usually be seen supporting him at major tournaments.

In February 2012 several media sources reported that the couple could be expected to get married some time this year. However, since then there has been no formal announcement and no date set. Perhaps the couple want to do things privately? They could be tired of all the gossip; for example, last year there was a lot of talk about Andy Murray being Djokovic's best men, which turned out not to be true. On the other hand, Serbian Djokovic is a convinced Orthodox Christian, so you would expect them to have a fairly large church wedding, which would be hard to keep private.
