Li Na is the only Chinese tennis player that has ever won a Grand Slam. She won the champion of the French Open (Roland Garros) Singles title in 2011.

Li Na beat the italian player Francesca Schiavone in the final with the score of 6-2 7-6 (7-0).
The same year she was also the runner-up of the Australian Open.

With her victory she also became the first asian ever to reach and win a Grand Slam in singles.
