Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "He is not here" in Korean in 3 ways:
| Informal | geu-neun yeogi-e eopseo | 그는 여기에 없어 | |
| Formal | geu-neun yeogi-e eopseoyo | 그는 여기에 없어요 | |
| Very Formal | geu-bun-eun yeogi-e eopseupnida | 그 분은 여기에 없습니다 |
- he: geu-neun (그는), geubun-eun (그분은)
- is not: eopda (없다)
- here: yeogi (여기), yeogi-e (여기에)
