Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "He is not here" in Korean in 3 ways:


Informal geu-neun yeogi-e eopseo 그는 여기에 없어
Formal geu-neun yeogi-e eopseoyo 그는 여기에 없어요
Very Formal geu-bun-eun yeogi-e eopseupnida 그 분은 여기에 없습니다

  • he: geu-neun (그는), geubun-eun (그분은)
  • is not: eopda (없다)
  • here: yeogi (여기), yeogi-e (여기에)
