According to the 2010 Pew Forum demographic study, 205 millions is the estimated Muslim population of Indonesia. This means that 88% of the population of Indonesia is Muslim.

In fact, Indonesia is the country with the largest Muslim population in the world followed by Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.

The majority of Muslims in Indonesia are Sunni although a minority are Shia followers.
