If you are in the UK it is no longer possible to study alternative medicine at a public university. In 2012 the last such courses were shut down, partly due to lack of students and partly due to increased scrutiny of the actual content of the courses, which made it doubtful if they could justify receiving public funding.
You can read more about this here.
Basically, 'alternative' medicine is medicine that hasn't been proven to work. That doesn't mean it is of no use, but it does mean that when practitioners of alternative therapies make claims for their remedies, they are making statements that are unproven. For this and other reasons, there is a reluctance to endorse the teaching of courses which aren't actually founded on facts, but which often claim to be.
However, you can still study alternative medicine by correspondence or e-course if you want to go down this route. Before you spend your money, though, it's a good idea to get some background on what 'alternative medicine' actually involves, because there is a lot of misinformation about. You could try this book as a good place to start.
