Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "We're expecting a thunderstorm" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: cheondung beongae-ga chilgeoya (천둥 번개가 칠거야)
  • Formal: cheondung beongae-ga chilgeoyeyo (천둥 번개가 칠거예요)
  • Very formal: cheondung beongae-ga chilgeomnida (천둥 번개가 칠겁니다)
