Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "I am an engineer" in Korean in 3 ways:


Informal na-neun gisa-ya 나는 기사야
Formal jeo-neun gisa-yeyo 저는 기사예요
Very Formal jeo-neun gisa-imnida 저는 기사입니다

  • I: na-neun (나는), jeo-neun (저는)
  • engineer: gisa (기사), gisulja (기관사), enginieo (엔지니어)
