Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "Tell me" in Korean in 3 ways:

| Formal | mal-hae juseyo | 말해 주세요 | |
| mal-hae boseyo | 말해 보세요 | ||
| Very Formal | malsseum-hae jusipsiyo | 말씀해 주십시요 | |
| malsseum-hae bosipsiyo | 말씀해 보십시요 |
- to tell: mal-hada (말하다)
- me (indirect objective): na-ege (나에게), jeo-ege (저에게) - can be omitted
