There are several business bank accounts you can open for free, though some of them have restrictions. For example, you can get free business banking at Barclays for up to two years. Most of the other high street banks offer between 6 and 18 months - Santander and HSBC have different deals for different sized businesses - and some offer inclusive support and advice services.

You may also be interested in business savings accounts. Again, most of the main high street banks offer deposit accounts or business bonds, often at quite competitive rates of interest at least for the first two or three years. Of course, if you are running a small business on your own, you may be able to do it with a private bank account - many people do.
