The Olympic flag is white with 5 rings of different colors: blue, yellow, black, green and red linked together. Each of the rings representing one of the five inhabited continents.
The flag was designed in 1912 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin who wanted to represent the spirit of healthy competition and the multicultural aspect of the Olympic Games.
