We all know that green tea has many health benefits such as detoxing, reducing the risk of esophageal cancer, improving the ratio of good and bad cholesterol. However, since it contains caffeine, its better to restrict to three cups of green tea a day. If you are pregnant, its recommended not to drink more than 2 cups of caffeine related drinks including green tea.
If consuming more than 5 cups of green tea a day, you may experience the caffeine-related side effects such as headache, loss of appetite, isomnia, irregular heart beat, dizziness, diarrhea or even vomiting.
