The first tube baby in world is Louise Brown who was born in July 1978 at Oldham General Hospital in the UK.

Louise Mum Lesley Brown who died at the age of 64 in June 2012, was the first woman to give birth following IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) treatment. The treatment was conducted by pioneer doctors - Patrick Steptoe and Robert Edwards.
