Do finger prints stay same?

Yes, on nearly all people they stay the same all through your life. If you do a job that causes a lot of wear and tear on the fingers, the print can get worn down and become harder to detect, but the basic pattern never changes.
In fact fingerprints are among the most long-lasting things on the human body, and people have been identified by their prints well after death. Even when dead bodies are recovered from the water having been partly eaten by fish, the underlying pattern of the fingerprints is still identifiable even when the outer layer of skin on the fingers has been eaten off.
In one recent case, a man lost some fingers in an accident, and they were found inside a fish months later - still identifiable by the prints. As no two fingerprints are exactly the same, that, as well as their unchanging nature, is a major reason why they are used in identification.
