Google TV works alongside your regular TV so that you can also use internet features like Google Chrome, YouTube and internet apps on your TV screen. It is also supposed to give you a lot more control over what you watch, as viewers should be able to access thousands of movies and TV programmes on demand. It is still very new so of course the service will change a lot, but they are adding new content every day, so you will be able to watch a lot more than just ordinary TV programmes.

You get a little box called the buddy box, which is placed between the TV and the cable or satellite receiver. You plug in the cable and this should mean that you now have all these Google features working on your TV. You should also be able to control it with your phone as well as the remote.
