When is Henman Hill going to be renamed Murray Mount?

Sports commentators and members of the public have already started this; quite often in sports articles both names are used together. As Murray will no doubt be playing for some years yet, and is much younger than Henman, probably in a year or two we will see that only the name 'Murray Mound' is being used.

However, they probably won't change it officially. The official name is Aorangi Terrace, and it is named after the grounds of the New Zealand Rugby Club, Aorangi Park. The name itself comes from the Maori word Aoraki, the name of a New Zealand mountain which in English is often called Cook Mountain. It began to be known as Henman Hill when fans of the player started going there in large numbers to watch him, but in fact there is a joky tradition of naming the area after the top British player of the day (it has been Rusedski Ridge as well).
