In May 6th 2012 it was announced that The Avengers has had a box office of $200 million in the US and has earned $441 million in the rest of the world.
So, so far The Avengers has had a grossing of $641 million and is the top-grossing movie of 2012.

With that information, The Avengers becomes also the most successful and highest grossing film of all the Marvel Superheroes films franchise.
