That's a huge question! There are so many places to visit.

Of course most people start in England with London. There is so much to do there; most visitors like to see Buckingham Palace, the Tower, the Houses of Parliament etc, as well as taking a river boat trip, seeing Westminster Abbey and visiting special attractions like the London Eye or Madame Tussaud's.

But if you are interested in cities and want something different, you could consider Bath, a beautiful historic city, or the wonderful Scottish capital of Edinburgh.

You may prefer the countryside. England, Scotland and Wales all have stunning, individual rural and coastal areas. The most popular tourist regions of England are the south west, especially Devon and Cornwall, and the northern Lake District - though my own favourite UK region for a country holiday is North Wales. It's green, friendly and magical, but it does rain a lot!
