How can I improve my LinkedIn profile?

I think your profile is actually quite nice- profile image and all. Try to add some "beef" in form of projects- even presentations you created during your internship or studies, anything which can show depth. Try to secure at least one recommendation from your current employer. Don't worry about being too technical- Just try to make it appear as though you have more experience overall.

First, it is advisable to get a really good photograph of yourself - just head and shoulders, but a nice photo and preferably a smiling one. Then you need to pay attention to the headline which identifies your job title/career area. This has to be short of course, but the more specialist the better - ie, rather than just 'translator' it should specify languages used and/or types of translation you specialise in.
Your summary should be 50 to 70 words and give a clear idea of who you are - not just what you've done. You should write in the first person and make it personal but not too chatty. Emphasise your areas of special expertise and interest, and try to include anything you've done, eg leadership roles, which makes you stand out.
Your work experience list needs to be succinct, with no gaps but no unnecessary detail. You should ask former employers and clients to write you short but detailed recommendations.
