Anywhere that you go with someone you love is a romantic destinatinon, but according to Tripadvisor the top three places chosen by most people are Venice, Paris and Amsterdam. If you think of Venice you probably think of gondolas, singing gondoliers and gliding along the canal with your loved one (if you can afford the trip - it's a very expensive city.)

Paris is often called a city for lovers - it's full of parks and big, open boulevards where you can stroll along in a dream, or pavement cafes and outdoor restaurants with plenty of tables for two. Or you can get a padlock, put both your names on it and lock it onto one of the bridges like Pont Neuf - this is said to safeguard your love.

Amsterdam again is a city of canals and shady streets, and (to be a bit less romantic for a moment) you can often get a cheaper deal there than in the other two.
