Will Qwiki be a success?

It's still quite a new company, so we will not know the answer to that one for a while. But it is growing at present, and even if Qwiki itself doesn't have the success that its founders hope for, this new way of presenting information could well catch on. It could be that other companies jump on the bandwagon and overtake it, for example.

As some commentators have noted, the Qwiki concept fits in very well with the way we live now. It's very fast, and it brings information to you in an audiovisual way. This is what we are getting used to; some scientists even think our brains may be changing as we read less and take in more information through images and sounds. It is also said to work very well with new media, so it's perfectly timed to fit the rise of Google TV, for example. Audiovisual material can also be better than a lot of text if you are doing a search on your mobile phone.
