Mario Bros., the popular character of the video games was created and developed for Nintendo by Shigeru Miyamoto.
Mario's first appearence was in Donkey Kong's game in the year 1981 and at that time he was known as 'Jumpman'.
He was later named Mario in 1982 in the game Donkey Kong Junior . One year later, in 1983 the character appeared for first time with his brother Luigi in his own video game, Mario Bros.
Miyamoto has woked in Nintendo's most succesful titles such as Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Star Fox and The Legend of Zelda.
