His main sponsor since 2009 has been Adidas. They signed him up in a deal worth over £10 million over 5 years. This may have annoyed him when he seemed to blame his Adidas shorts for some lost points in a recent match (he said the pockets were not long enough to keep a ball in) but later made it publicly clear that he wasn't blaming the shorts.

Murray has other deals too, including with the Royal Bank of Scotland (he apparently agreed to a reduced fee when the bank collapsed and had to be bailed out) and Head Rackets. Until February 2012 he also had a sponsorship deal with the Highland Spring Water company, but this has not been renewed.

Although Murray didn't win the Wimbledon final this year, he still got further than any British player in recent history and also gained a lot of goodwill from fans. By going on to win a gold medal in the Olympics he made sure that he will be a good bet for companies for some time to come.
