Veronica Campbell-Brown has a personal best of 21.74 seconds in the 200 metres. This puts her in the all time world top ten of runners, and makes her the second fastest woman runner of the 21st century, as well as the third fastest from Jamaica, her home country. In the 100 metres she has a personal best of 10.76, which ranks her as all t time 9th in the world.

Among many other highlights, Campbell Brown has won five Olympic medals. She also holds the world record for the 100 yards at 9.91 seconds and is the reigning 60m world indoor champion.

Veronica Campbell Brown is 30 years old, one of 10 children, and grew up in Trelawney, Jamaica. She studied in the US, earning her degree in Kansas. In 2007 she married fellow Jamaican athlete Omar Brown. She won at the Olympic trials and will be competing in the London Olympics this year.
