Elton John and his partner David Furnish have a son named Zachary - his full name is Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John. He was born in December 2010 to a surrogate mother who was employed in California by Elton John and his partner David Furnish. One of the two men is the little boy's biological father, but they have never told anyone which of them it is, as they want him to look on them both as his parents equally. In recent pictures Zachary does look quite a lot like Elton, though.

Sir Elton and his partner had an official partnership ceremony in 2005 and have been together ever since. Zachary is still their only child, though they have said that they would like him to have brothers and sisters. They did try to adopt a child before that, but there were legal difficulties and this is the main reason why they decided to employ a surrogate mother instead.
