Most tragically, it seems there is no longer any doubt that this plane is lost. The MH370 has not yet been recovered which of course means that the passengers and crew haven't been recovered either. However, there have been repeated sightings of debris in the Indian Ocean which is believed to be parts of the lost aircraft. Rescue teams and experts have been trying to get closer so they can identify the debris for sure, but now bad weather is making it difficult to search and so we may not know for sure until tomorrow or later.

The causes of the tragedy are still a mystery. Right now every possibility is being considered and, as always when you have an incident like this, there are some very wild theories about. But hopefully when the wreckage is recovered that will bring the world a step closer to knowing how the plane ended up like this.
